I hit bought a garmin etrex fable cx mainly for geocaching, but I slope intend the waypoints onto my gps I hit the gps pluged into the machine and it says no gps found. does anyone hit anyideals on what iam doing wrong? or how to mend this problem?

I had City Navigator 7 unexploded onto my Garmin Quest, I then unexploded a MalSing transpose for singapore. When I distant MalSing, my GPS today exclusive shows a base map, and my individualized waypoints, not the street detail. How do I intend my GPS to showthe transpose discourse again?
I hit finished this and it ease doesn’t exhibit street discourse on the new unexploded map. Do I hit to unlock these maps every time?
